Baby Shower Gift

I recently was invited to my friends baby shower and what better gift to give as a handmade gift.

 I crocheted this baby afghan for her

and knitted this sock monkey for the baby boy.

My Naughty Skirt

I am so excited and proud of myself. I just finished my second sewing Project, a pencil skirt. I used a red waist band and red zipper to make it unique and not look store bought. I also used a hand sewn slip stitch on the hem and waistband to make it invisible. It also has a small slit in the back that you can't really see in these pictures.
